Standard: $415 Deadline May 23, 2025

Registration is open on a first-come first-served basis (with entry and payment submission). Registration & fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

ALL TEAMS MUST BE PREPARED TO PLAY AT ANYTIME FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 2025. 

TEAMS ARE NOT PLACED ON THE SCHEDULE until roster requirements are 100% complete with all members listed. (See, USA Basketball U.S. Open Basketball Championships Roster Eligibility & Verification for more information on athlete and coach requirements.)

ROSTER SIZE & MAKEUP
Team rosters are capped at 15 members total (players and coaches combined) and must include a minimum one (1) licensed coach. An athlete may only appear on one (1) roster in the U.S. Open Basketball Championships and WILL NOT be allowed to play for multiple teams.

ROSTER & VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Athletes: All athletes must submit proof of age (ex. birth certificate, passport) and proof of grade (2024/2025 school report card, transcript) on the team’s National Sports ID account.  Instructions for completing National Sports ID will be provided to teams after registering.  All costs are covered by USA Basketball. 

Coaches and Bench Personnel: Any bench personnel must hold a valid USA Basketball 2024-25 Coach License, which includes passing a USA Basketball criminal background check.  Obtain the license at USA Basketball 2024-25 Gold Coach License.

Roster & Verification Requirements - Deadline May 30, 2025 
Any team/members with incomplete items at deadline, are subject to removal from the event.

12 & Under Division* – Eligible athletes CANNOT turn 13 prior to September 1, 2025; This is an age-only eligible division, no exceptions.

13 & Under Division* – Eligible athletes CANNOT turn 14 prior to September 1, 2025; This is an age-only eligible division, no exceptions.

8th Grade Division – Eligible athletes cannot turn 15 prior to September 1, 2025 OR Grade Eligibility Exception: Must have been enrolled in the 8th grade or lower on October 1, 2024 (2024/2025 School Year) AND CANNOT turn 16 prior to September 1, 2025. 

9th Grade Division – Eligible athletes cannot turn 16 prior to September 1, 2025 OR Grade Eligibility Exception: Must have been enrolled in the 9th grade or lower on October 1, 2024 (2024/2025 School Year) AND CANNOT turn 17 prior to September 1, 2025.

10th Grade Division – Eligible athletes cannot turn 17 prior to September 1, 2025 OR Grade Eligibility Exception: Must have been enrolled in the 10th grade or lower on October 1, 2024 (2024/2025 School Year) AND CANNOT turn 18 prior to September 1, 2025.
